The All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance (AANChOR), the EU Office of the G7 Future of the Seas and Oceans Initiative Coordination Centre, H2020 Blue-Cloud, iAtlantic & AtlantECO are joining efforts to provide an arena for international initiatives to harmonize and facilitate data sharing across the Atlantic, providing demonstrations of tools, training, open source marine data services e.g. SeaDataNet, EMODnet and CMEMS, towards open science ‘blue cloud’ technologies that strive to make data FAIR
Pledge Deliverables
The workshop jointly organised by AANChOR, the EU Office of G7 FSOI, iAtlantic, AtlantECO and Blue-Cloud, will produce:
A showcase of data infrastructure capacities, storing and sharing standards available in the Atlantic region
The first of a series of dialogues on the technical needs and challenges of data sharing across the Atlantic ‘pole to pole’
A list of possible collaboration opportunities between nations and organizations to jointly address regional and global ocean issues by 2030
